Big Bula! Fiji’s new theme park

When your kids get sick of hanging out at the resort (I know, how spoilt!) there is something very cool to do with them for a day of family fun.

Big Bula is an inflatable waterpark within walking distance of the Denarau resorts with loads of water slides and fun, bouncy times. Incredibly it is deflated every night in keeping with the island’s “natural” state.

Here’s my quick walk through to give you an idea of what to expect:

Big Bula inflatable park

Welcome to the Big Bula!

Costs: Adults FJ$65 = NZ$41.35, AU$37.70  /  Children: FJ$55 = NZ$35, AU$31.90

You can also get cheaper entry if you don’t plan to use the water slides yourself. There’s picnic tables to take lunch, or use your day pass to nip back to your hotel and return later. Bring your towel, sunscreen and riders are (meant) to wear socks, although I’m not sure all were!

Does this look like fun??

Or how about this one?

And any big lardy weight can try this one…

Big Bula rock wall

The inflatable “rock wall” palm tree. Yeah, nah.

For something more sedate this little one is learning to surf – although if daddy walked away…

I think there must be about 20 different activities here to keep one amused
