I stayed at the new¬†Sofitel Hotel in Auckland’s Viaduct Harbour and whopped the top of an expensive bottle of French champagne with a sabre. Just like in Napoleon times.

Have a look at my “performance”. Ummm, it didn’t go quite as I expected ….

Oh and there should be a disclaimer: don’t try this at home or you may well be on the back end of a shattered bottle and a soaking mess!
