Pics: Inside the Chicago All Blacks game!

After 34 years the All Blacks rugby team finally made it back to the United States.

We flew in to watch them whip the Eagles 74-6. But it wasn’t about the match for me, it was about the hoopla that surrounded it.

Here are a few photos I took at the sell-out 62,500 strong game at Soldier Field, Chicago…

Soldier Field stadium. Imagine a stadium this beautiful in New Zealand. It would be the most iconic building in all the land!

Go All Blacks! I yelled. The muppets didn’t agree.

I’m in Chicago via Fiji thanks to Fiji Airways who fly out of Auckland and twice a week from Christchurch Airport to Nadi then on to LA with daily flights. A great way to get to America for South Islanders who don’t want to transit through Auckland :)
