Video: Cadbury’s ‘Share the Joy’ launch

Last Friday in Dunedin, Cadbury was the only word on people’s lips. Quite literally. Licked off people’s lips in fact.

Friday was the crescendo of the annual Cadbury Chocolate Carnival with the Jaffa Race down Baldwin Street – the steepest street in the world (by half a degree) according to the Guinness Book of Records. Two races were held with 25,000 giant gob-stopping jaffas, each individually numbered so that someone could win a prize as they fund raised for two charities.

And just before the launch, Cadbury released a new song and video. Share the Joy is a collection of kiwi moments and celebrations of sounds, recorded by people in shopping malls and just out and about, all put together with Bobby McFerrin – he of Don’t Worry Be Happy fame.

Have a look at the video and hoopla as 10,000 people gathered at the bottom of Baldwin Street for the jaffa race to begin – and the rain just managed to stay away long enough so that it wasn’t Milo coming down Baldwin.
