Bucket List cruises in Asia and NZ/Australia

I don’t know how you’ve been this winter, but two doses of the flu has left me totally over it! And I’m talking bed-ridden, body-aching flu. Antibiotics and all. So here’s what sensible kiwis are doing at the moment: planning next year’s holidays (or even some last minute deals this side of Christmas) and getting out of dodge!

Here are the hottest deals around from cruise specialists Francis Travel Marketing for this year and right into next summer…

Cruise around New Zealand/Australia with Holland America Line

November 10, 2013 – 14 nights around Australia and New Zealand starting in Auckland and calling at Tauranga, Napier, Wellington, Christchurch, Dunedin, Milford Sound then across the Tasman to Hobart, Melbourne and ending in Sydney (for a few days shopping if you wish) before flying home.

Spaces are still available at the time of writing and the price starts at $2199 pp. That works out to $159 per day for your accommodation, all meals, onboard activities and entertainment plus they are currently adding a $100 credit (to use at the bar if you wish!) for those who book staterooms and they’ll also throw in dinner for two at the exclusive Pinnacle Grill, which passengers usually pay extra for.

Or how about 28 nights on the fabulous Oosterdam from Holland America taking in the above itinerary then going on from Sydney to New Caledonia, Samoa and Fiji, returning to Sydney. You’ll also get the $100 credit and dinner for two as above.

If you’re thinking about next year already, you can also book these itineraries in February 2014.
