Dr Seuss joins Carnival Cruises

Dr Seuss Carnival Cruises

Pic Carnival Cruises

Leaping off the pages and onto a Carnival Cruise ship near you is the crazy world of Dr Seuss!

Already known as “the fun ships”, Carnival Cruises have now partnered with the classic children’s storybooks to create a unique experience for Cat in the Hat fans of all ages.

The new experience is technically for kids aged 2-5 years and their families, but personally I know the corners of my mouth would twitch to see Thing One and Thing Two walking about the decks looking for Green Fish.

What your kids will love:

If you struggle to get your kids to eat their veges, try them on Green Eggs and Ham! Actually, they’ll probably gobble it down.

Kids can expect an onboard character parade, interactive story time, arts and crafts activities, a Cat in the Hat breakfast with gravity-defying pancake stacks, funky French toast, blue yogurt with strawberries, “Moose Juice” ‘n’ ”Goose Juice” all served on wacky plates and bowls and drinks with curly straws, with plenty of character photo opps.

Seuss-a-palooza Story Time begins with Cat-inspired face painting plus some crazy games and prizes. Once your little ones are settled in at the Seuss-tastic reading space they’ll be treated to a special reading from the Dr. Seuss’s library complete with character appearances that encourage participation from audience members, young and old. You’ve been warned.

Carnival Freedom is the first ship to go Seuss-like and has just been released from dry dock in the Bahamas for the Caribbean summer season.
