The trams in San Francisco are quaint and efficient. An oxymoron to most of us these days where efficiency is reliant on whiz-bang technology and the geeks who service them. And quaint belongs to hick towns where women wash laundry in the creek. But right here, on Market and Powell the trams reach the end of the line and out hop a couple of guys who spin er round with a giant heave-ho and the waiting passengers take photos before taking their seats.
