Big Disneyland discount for Kiwis and Aussies!

From now until October 2026, Disneyland is offering discounted tickets to Kiwis and Aussies to celebrate their 70th birthday.

Disneyland California is celebrating 70 years by throwing discounts around like a flowergirl with petals marching up the aisle.

You’ll need to use the link in this email to get the deal of up to $203 off on selected 3, 4 or 5-day tickets.

To celebrate seven decades of “The Happiest Place on Earth” they have created new entertainment, themed décor, specialty Mickey-shaped foods and beverages…

From now until 9 October 2026 (that’s next year!), Aussies and Kiwis can visit Disneyland Resort with a special offer on park tickets, saving up to $203 on selected 3, 4 or 5-day tickets.

I also have some handy tips for when is the best time to visit to avoid the massive crowds.

One of my top tips for where to stay is in one of the Disney resorts, because you get to enter the park an hour before the public and it’s an easy walk to and from the gates when you get exhausted and need a break (or the kids need a swim and a nap).

But they are expensive, so my next best option is a hotel as close as possible, and I rate Howard Johnson by Wyndham for families. It’s 500m from the park and has a big water playground for the kids and laundry facilities – which is a bonus!

You’ll also find Anaheim Camelot Inn and Suites, which is fraction closer to the park, is wheelchair accessible and also has laundry facilities.

Both these hotels are close to the Downtown Disney District, which is the free shopping and dining area in front of Disneyland, and a great place to spend your first evening, if you arrive late in the afternoon and don’t want to waste a whole day of your park passes.
