I rocked the Cars Land red carpet!

Last updated:June 28, 2012

I had to find an excuse to show you these photos of the Red Carpet event that Disney put on the night before Cars Land opened. I pretended I was an Aussie, shouting at various celebs to get their attention with a bunch of Aussie media, and it worked. They think only Aussies are obnoxious and I got these great photos!

Brad Garrett — Getting a little over excited that Everybody Loves Raymond star Brad Garrett is just there!

Brad Garrett — Hulloooo! Me and Brad Garrett, aka Robert

Andy Garcia — Be still my beating heart! Andy Garcia turned up with his son Andres. (Untouchables! Untouchables!)

Andres Garcia — But these were the shoes Andres Garcia was wearing! What the… Am I out of the loop or are these wrong?

Modern Family Ariel Winter — Ok, I did have to Google her: it’s Modern Family’s Ariel Winter. Pretty!

Modern Family's Nolan Gould — Google tells me this is Nolan Gould. He was very sweet and chatted to everyone who wanted a pic.

Modern Family Rico Rodriguez — This is Rico Rodriguez. Fashion much?

Larry the Cable Guy — Larry the Cable Guy is the voice of Mater

Brad Paisley — Brad Paisley sings a song on the Cars movie and told me he’s doing a concert in Australia. When I asked about NZ he said we’re too small. “Do sheep buy tickets?”, he said. Ruuuude.

Jon Cryer — Two and Half Men’s Jon Cryer gave a gratuitous wave when I yelled at the top of my voice to say hi to Australia. (Note my nationality during this shame)

Eddie Izzard — I also yelled at Eddie Izzard to let us take a photo. He turned around said take it. Pah! Thanks for rushing past Eddie!

John Ratzenberger — John Ratzenberger looks a bit grumpy here but actually was very chatty. He is the voice of Mack on Cars, but some of another generation may know him better as postman Cliff Claven from Cheers.

Cars Land red carpet — My mate Ramon was in charge of stopping people like me from jumping over the railing. I did ask him to hook a few celebs and drag them over. Alas, he didn’t have his crook.

Cars Land red carpet — But I got myself on the red carpet anyway!
